It is built on the basis of a modern IPS-matrix, equipped with the latest digital interfaces and supports additional gaming features such as a fixed sight, a timer and a frame per second counter. At the same time, it is one of the most affordable IPS-based gaming monitors. Most of its cheaper competitors usually use a VA or TN panel with smaller viewing angles and more modest color reproduction.

The LG 24MP60G is based on a 24-inch 6-bit + FRC color sensor with Full HD resolution. The screen provides a maximum image brightness of 250 nits, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a color gamut of 72% of the NTSC triangle. The response rate is 5ms (gray to gray) and the refresh rate is slightly increased from 60 to 75 Hz. To reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions, the LG 24MP60G is equipped with traditional eye-strain tools that include Flicker-Free and a blue light filter.

The set of ports looks pretty old-school and includes an analog VGA connector, as well as the more familiar digital interfaces HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort v 1.2. In general, the monitor will be a good choice for non-demanding video game fans who plan to play at medium graphics settings in Full HD resolution and do not really need support for HDR content or a 144Hz refresh rate.
