The Laowa 35mm f/0.95 FF Argus employs an optical design of 14 elements in 9 groups, including one ED element, one aspherical lens, and four UL elements.

It is supposed to focus on sharpness purely in the old fashioned way, i.e. manually. The minimum distance for this is 50 cm from the plane of the camera matrix. The advantages of the model can be safely written down the presence of a switch that allows you to choose between smooth and stepped movement of the aperture ring. The ultra-fast prime lens is available in versions for Sony E, Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts.
