Huawei P20 64 GB

A promising camera phone comes from the Celestial Empire, inferior in photography only to its older brother with the Pro prefix. And even then only due to the “three-eyed” main camera of the latter. Huawei P20 is equipped with a dual camera module familiar to smartphones in 2018, consisting of a single 12 MP colour sensor with f/1.8 lens aperture, as well as a second 20 MP monochrome sensor with f/1.6 optics aperture.
Thanks to the artificial intelligence system, the Huawei P20 camera automatically recognizes about 20 scenes, adapting the shooting settings for them. The front camera in the assets of the model also does not graze the rear ones — a 24 MP module with f / 2.0 aperture is assigned to its role. The metal case of the device holds back the powerful hardware escaping from the chest, which is based on the flagship chip of Huawei's own design — Kirin 970.
The model is available on store shelves in a single configuration with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM, support for memory cards is not announced. The screen of the gadget with a diagonal of 5.8 "has got a characteristic "notch", and its maximum resolution is 2240x1080 pixels. The picture is complemented by dust and water protection of the case, a fingerprint scanner, an NFC chip, an infrared port and support for fast charging technology of a 3400 mAh battery, as required flagship attributes.

Huawei P20 128GB is an excellent device, approaching the second year of use without complaints. Just one, the charging cable wore out quickly. Replaced it with a new one. I've been using it for over a year, and it's a really good build for the money. The screen is nice, and the battery lasts about half a day on average. I need to take a lot of photos and videos for work. The camera is top-notch. The AI works fine, it's good enough for the average person. But if you want a good photo, you'd need to learn the camera's manual settings. There are a lot of them, which is great. There's a good basic editor on the phone for working with media files. It holds a connection well, the fingerprint scanner works fine, but if you cut your finger, it reads as someone else's. It's quite decent for gaming. If you turn on gaming mode on the phone, games run smoothly at max settings. There is a missing 3.5 connector. use Huawei P20 128GB month or more i recommend it should buy |
Good phone for the money. I was pleased with the presence of NFC and fast charging. Type-C is also a good addition to the device. The processor, of course, is rather weak, but it runs not too demanding games calmly, while more demanding ones can only be played at minimum settings. Overall, it falls just short of the top five due to the processor and video accelerator. No |
Very convenient and powerful phone, no worse than branded ones. Camera, sound, screen, app performance, build quality are very very cool, memory is 64 gigs. Previously had an LG G2 with 16 gigs and couldn't fill up the memory in two years. Not sure, it might not be the phone. There are sometimes call drops during conversations. use Huawei P20 64GB week |
In a series of smartphones marked with the “P” symbol from the Chinese brand Huawei, a key bet is made on advanced photo capabilities. The P20 is one of the few that has managed to cross the 100-point mark in the rating of cameras on board mobile devices, compiled by the authoritative resource DxOMark.
AI on guard of photo quality
On the “loin” part of the smartphone near the “two-eyed” main camera, the logo of the German company Leica proudly flaunts, which had a hand in the development of optics for photomodules. The first of them with a resolution of 16 MP shoots in colour, and the second at 20 MP in black and white. From above, all this is "seasoned" with artificial intelligence, guarded by the definition of scenes and further automatic colour correction. The AI system recognizes over 20 different scenes and applies a wide range of settings to them. Also, its tasks include providing assistance in obtaining high-quality night photos from hands — there are no equal Huawei P20 in this field. The front camera has got a sensor as much as 24 MP and is equipped with wide-angle optics, which makes it easier to shoot architecture and take group selfies.
Pro level hardware
Machine learning capabilities are entirely tied to the NPU neural network module, which is an integral part of Huawei's flagship Kirin 970 chip. In a synthetic test, a combination of an 8-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and ARM Mali-G72 MP12 graphics scores over 200K "points", which indicates the huge potential of the "iron" component of the gadget. With such data, it is “too tough” for absolutely any tasks that the smartphone is ready to roll without the slightest hitch.
Flagship ambitions
The screen of the model is as good as the hardware — an IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 5.8" and a resolution of 2240x1080 pixels conveys all the richness of the shades of the sRGB colour space. Only the “bangs” in the display design stood out as a thorn in the eye, which can be masked by black filling on the sides (indicators and notification icons will be displayed to the left and right of the cutout). The attributes of the flagship in the arsenal of Huawei P20 are also an NFC chip and support for fast battery charging technology, but for some reason the smartphone cannot charge “over the air”. Even more goodies are offered by the Pro version, where a triple camera is used, an OLED display is installed and there is an improved water protection of the case.
