The notable additions in these earbuds include the enlarged 11mm dynamic drivers and significantly improved adaptive noise cancellation system. The effectiveness of ANC 3.0 noise cancellation has increased by 100%, providing a maximum noise suppression depth of up to 27 dB.
For calls, a three-microphone system in each earbud is responsible for cutting out background noise. Huawei FreeBuds 6i support Hi-Res Audio, codecs AAC, LDAC, and L2HC 2.0. For mobile gaming enthusiasts, the model features a special low-latency gaming mode. In music listening mode with active noise cancellation, the earbuds offer a battery life of about 5 hours, and up to 8 hours without noise cancellation. The charging case extends the battery life to 20 and 35 hours, respectively. Just 10 minutes in the case provides the earbuds enough charge for the next 4 hours of use. The model features convenient touch controls, and the earbuds themselves have a basic dust and water resistance rating of IP54.

The sound became slightly better and louder, the form factor is more convenient, the matte case, the presence of manual control for changing the track and volume level... BUT! There are questions about this very control of pressing after 4 months of use, the device does not distinguish well between double and triple pressing, therefore there are constant confusions and problems. In the software for the ears, it is impossible to properly configure this, in particular, for a long touch, at least to pause / play is impossible... Otherwise, normal ears. In the shower after abundant water ingress, they work normally, however, at some point a slight crackle was heard, although the phenomenon was one-time. The battery has not become better in comparison with the 4i, it will do. Luxurious headphones for this price. Excellent sound quality - they themselves adapt playback for the tracks, be it rock or jazz, for instance. It's also nice that the connection works well - it doesn't drop at all, even though my smartphone is not from Huawei.
