HiBy R6

A compact and modern portable player of near-top level with impressive battery life and solid, well-balanced sound. The 2019 model is in fact the third iteration of the same R6 player, which HiBy is updating to keep up with fashion. Created for connoisseurs of extremely high-quality and detailed sound, who are used to listening to music in lossless quality and do not trust MP3 decoders.

Compared to the second version, the third iteration of HiBy R6 was equipped with a dual premium DAC based on 32-bit ESS Saber ESS9028Q2M chips. The 9038Q2M is a highly reliable DAC chipset that delivers crisp, high-resolution audio decoding with clear, noise-free backgrounds and extremely low output distortion. The manufacturer has also implemented dual amplification mode, including Class A amplification, which provides a powerful, clean output signal with low distortion.

The Class A circuit uses a pair of OPA1652 op amps, 16 hand-selected transistors and Elna capacitors to ensure the output signal is 100% Saber DAC level. The player runs Android OS, allowing the owner to install Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music or other preferred music streaming. The system performance is ensured by a fairly productive 8-core Snapdragon 665 chip. For user interaction, a fairly large and bright IPS touch screen with a diagonal of 4.2 inches and a resolution of 1280x768 pixels is provided.

To connect headphones, there is a whole pack of different options, including the usual 3.5 mm minijack or Bluetooth receiver, as well as a more extravagant microjack (2.5 mm), 4.4 mm pentacon or coaxial output. The built-in 4000 mAh battery provides up to 12 hours of battery life. Fast charging Quick Charge 3.0 replenishes energy from 0 to 100% in an average of a couple of hours. The built-in storage of 32 GB can be expanded using a microSD memory card. The maximum capacity of the memory card can reach 2000 GB.
