Portable Hi-Fi players

 

— as the name suggests, these players conform to Hi-Fi audio standards and are designed primarily for high fidelity sound reproduction. They often have less extensive features than "regular" audio players, especially in terms of additional functions — however, this is offset by a minimum of output distortion, the ability to work with special sound formats, the presence of special interfaces and other professional-level features. Hi-Fi models can be recommended to those for whom high sound quality is the highest priority — for example, audiophiles.
