Unfortunately, the voice assistant is currently only available in English.
Smart speaker Google Home Mini is equipped with a built-in Bluetooth adapter, Wi-Fi module and one broadband speaker. It can play music, control smart home devices, answer simple questions, add calendar events, and play video/audio via Chromecast. The manufacturer is positioning itself as an affordable device for advanced users and home IT technology enthusiasts. Thanks to the data accumulated by Google voice services, speech recognition is implemented at a very high level, even a pronounced accent does not interfere with it at all. You can listen to music on the speaker using the streaming services Google Play Music, Pandora and Spotify. The device is produced in three colours: light grey, dark grey and red. The upper part of the speaker is made of textured fabric, which looks spectacular and is easy to clean from dust.

Stylish piece of furniture
Unlike the main model of the Home line, Home Mini received really minimal dimensions of 42x98x98 mm and an external resemblance to a pillow. The abundance of unobtrusive colours (Chalk, Charcoal, Coral, Aqua) pleases the eye and makes the speaker harmonious in any interior. The fabric grill is pleasant to the touch and easy to clean from dust, as is the plastic bottom.
Nutrition Features
Home Mini is positioned as a portable speaker, but does not have a battery. Power is supplied via the included microUSB cable and AC adapter. On the one hand, this is not very convenient, on the other hand, a power bank or a smartphone with OTG (reverse charging) easily solve the issue, no matter where you are.
Loud kid
The power output of the Google Mini is not stated, but it plays as loudly as the 40mm omnidirectional driver allows. All volume for a small room up to 15 m². it will even be too much. The sound is soft, open, and even almost intelligible, as far as it is possible for one band.
Management and communication
After the first turn on, the column is proposed to be configured using the GoogleHome application so that advanced functions become available. For example, Multiroom, voice control, audio streaming from Spotify and Google Music services, data backup, Google Assistant(which, unfortunately, does not support Russian).
