The Mini model is a compact version of the flagship DJI RS 3 and DJI RS 3 Pro gimbals. It uses the same advanced 3rd generation RS Stabilization algorithms, but is significantly lighter (only 795 g).

Balancing cameras weighing up to 2 kg

This DJI gimbal can support equipment up to 2 kg, which means it can easily handle most mirrorless cameras. The model also supports stabilization with retractable zoom lenses without the need for additional balancing. The camera is balanced on the gimbal once, but during the initial setup, it may be difficult to find the correct center of gravity. Detailed instructions can be found in the official video tutorial on YouTube.

Color touch display

The Steadicam is controlled via a 1.4-inch color touch screen. The "M" key on the handle allows you to switch stabilization modes, and the multifunctional wheel is used to adjust the ISO, aperture, focus, and other camera settings. There is a separate button for releasing the shutter, which connects to the camera wirelessly via Bluetooth. The proprietary NATO port is designed for connecting holders, lighting, and other accessories.

Wide range of possibilities

The design of the Mini Steadicam includes two special plates. One of them is a two-layer quick-release plate for shooting from high angles, the second is the upper one with a curved guide that prevents rotation and weakening of the camera fixation. The model supports three main operating modes: PF (semi-following the object with horizontal camera movements), PTF (the main axes follow the movement of the handle), FPV (all three axes are active). Additional intelligent functions are available from the Ronin mobile application : timelapse, tracking, panorama. Also through the application you can configure the transmission of commands from controllers for Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox.
