This PSU is equipped with a DC / DC converter, thanks to which it is possible to adjust the output voltage at an incredibly fine level. Another important feature is the use of a hybrid cooling system: at a power load of up to 15%, heat is removed only by passive radiators, and in idle (standby) mode and at system startup, the fan of the Cooler Master MasterWatt MPX-5501-AMAAB power supply does not emit extraneous noise.

The fan is supported by a self-lubricating Loop Dynamic Bearing (LDB), which is unique in its kind. The sliding sleeve body is sealed and IP6X protected.
