It is the middle model of the Corsair TX-M Series device line, which includes high-quality and energy-efficient power supplies with power from 550 to 850 W. Positioned as the top mid-range product of 2017, designed to power high-performance gaming systems with top-end graphics cards and powerful workstations with demanding professional graphics accelerators.

This model is based on the current CWT hardware platform with modern circuitry (resonant LLC converter with DC-DC converters). Thanks to it, the Corsair TX-M Series CP-9020132 power supply shows excellent efficiency, corresponding to the level of 80 Plus Gold (92% efficiency at 50% of the nominal load). It also guarantees excellent stabilization of output voltages and the ability to deliver up to 612 W of power along the +12 V line (current up to 51 A). To cool the heating components of the device, a controlled 120 mm fan with a seven-blade impeller is used, the shape of which is optimized for efficient and quiet operation at low speeds. Such a cooler is almost silent at a load of up to 450 watts.
