Elegant and stylish "thin bezel" 27-inch Full HD monitor with a built-in stereo system (2x2 W), light sensor and the highest possible comfortable viewing angles. The manufacturer is positioned as a low-cost solution for home or office use. It has a number of technologies that minimize the load on the user's eyesight: Brightness Intelligence Technology automatically adjusts the brightness depending on the general level of illumination of the room, BenQ Low Blue Light Plus eliminates the negative impact of the blue part of the visible spectrum, and Flicker-Free technology completely eliminates the image from tiresome high-frequency flicker — flickering.

It has a fairly large pixel size (0.311 mm pitch), which allows you to significantly increase the working distance from the screen to the user's eyes, which reduces the tension of the lens muscles. The BenQ GW2780 monitor is based on a high-quality eight-bit IPS-matrix with W-LED backlight. It allows the screen to demonstrate high-quality colour reproduction, an acceptable level of maximum brightness (250 cd / m².) and a standard static contrast ratio of 1000: 1. The minimum response time of the GtG matrix is 4, and the average switching time BtW is about 8 ms, which allows us to recommend this monitor for viewing high-quality and dynamic video with a high frame rate, as well as for economical gamers. Connects to PCs, laptops and other signal sources via VGA, DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 1.4 interfaces.

Model overview based on user reviews
The BenQ GW2480 24" monitor is praised for its excellent IPS matrix and good color reproduction, making it a great choice for its price. Users appreciate the eye protection features like flicker-free technology and a light sensor, which help reduce eye strain during extended use. The monitor's matte screen and neat design with thin bezels are also well-received. However, the built-in speakers are considered weak and not very useful, as many users prefer headphones. The monitor's sturdy stand and cable management features add to its appeal. Overall, the BenQ GW2480 is recommended for those seeking a reliable and affordable monitor with decent performance for office and multimedia use.

if you're not getting your first monitor, definitely pay attention to the contrast.
13 April 2020
purchased as a 3rd monitor, the mandatory criteria were:
- VESA mount compatibility
- non-TN panel
- 27" with FHD
As soon as I placed it next to other monitors, I realized I needed to return it because the picture looked "washed out." I had no desire to look at such a display.
If you're getting it as your primary monitor and have nothing to compare it to, I think you won't have any unpleasant feelings.

next to it are 2 monitors with a VA matrix and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, and it's clearly visible that the monitor's black is "gray"

Eyes do not get tired, really. For 2 days I couldn't figure out why instead of black there was some dark gray, I had to tweak the settings. A year ago I bought it 1000 rubles cheaper. The frame is made of thin plastic, but there is a bezel around the display. The power button is like a spotlight. :)
the eyes don't get tired. large viewing angles. decent appearance.
the speakers are very quiet.

Initially, I bought the BenQ BL2711U Ultra HD 4K for its resolution but found it inconvenient for my work. I decided to go for two Full HD instead. I chose the BenQ GW2780 because it has a thin bezel and built-in speakers. I was very concerned about eye strain. THEY DON'T GET TIRED! Thanks to the successful stand, they take up little space on the desk.
The eyes don't get tired. Graininess is not visible even from a short distance. Comfortable foot - takes up little space and is VERY stable
Not detected. Although ... the speakers would be stronger, but it will do for work
