be quiet! Dark Rock Elite is an air supercooler with a stated TPD of 280 W, which is comparable to liquid cooling systems. It consists of two towers, through which seven tubes pass (in principle, it is impossible to fit more). The heat distribution plate is coated with nickel, which makes the cooler compatible not only with thermal paste, but also with liquid metal.
Pair of fans
It is blown by two proprietary be quiet! fans. Silent Wings with a diameter of 135 mm. The blades have aerodynamic grooves, the motor is six-pole, and the bearing is hydrodynamic. All this results in trouble-free operation of up to 300 thousand hours. The fans are mounted on rails, which simplifies their installation and allows them to be adjusted to the height of the RAM.
Control button
The cooler is covered with matte paint with ceramic inclusions, which promotes better heat dissipation. The top cover hides the ugly dusty ends of the tubes, is decorated with ARGB lighting and is equipped with a fan speed switch: quiet or maximum. In the first case, the noise level is generally inaudible 11 dB, and in the second - still moderate 26 dB.
