The gaming monitor of the ROG Strix series from Asus is a high-end 27-inch solution based on an OLED matrix. It uses the third generation of panels with white organic LEDs, for which an increase in maximum brightness of up to 450 nits (corresponds to the DisplayHDR 400 standard) is declared, as well as a special radiator and a mode to reduce the risk of burnout OLED Care. The model can be recommended to the most demanding gamers, whose PC hardware capabilities are limited by support for a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels.
The gaming status of the Asus ROG Strix XG27AQDMG monitor, in addition to the proprietary Aura Sync RGB backlight, is supported by a screen refresh rate increased to 240 Hz, an almost instant response of 0.03 ms from gray to gray, as well as technologies and options such as AMD FreeSync Premium, backward compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync, Shadow Boost for brightening dark areas of the frame, an FPS counter, a sight, and ROG Gaming AI - gaming optimization using artificial intelligence.
The advantages of the display, in addition to the characteristic high contrast, which tends to infinity, include excellent color rendering (an honest 10-bit matrix is used + an excellent color gamut is declared with coverage of 135% of the sRGB space and 99% - DCI P3) and safety for vision (confirmed by the TÜV Rheinland certificate). The equipment features include a USB hub with two ports and a flexible display position with portrait mode, height adjustment (12 cm) and rotation.
