A model for gaming and multimedia tasks, equipped with a 27-inch Fast IPS panel in Quad HD format — 2560x1440 pixels. The monitor screen boasts a refresh rate up to 180 Hz and a fast response time (from 0.5 ms with MPRT technology). This achieves high gameplay dynamics with smooth graphics rendering. VESA Adaptive-Sync technology eliminates any discrepancy between the screen image and the computer signal.

Additionally, the AOC Q27G42XE boasts excellent color reproduction with coverage of about 120% of the sRGB spectrum and 92.9% of the DCI-P3 space. The model features interfaces such as DisplayPort v 1.4, two HDMI v 2.0 ports, a 3.5 mm mini-jack, and built-in speakers of 2 x 2 W. For gaming tools, users will have access to a crosshair, timer, and a function to illuminate dark areas of the image for better enemy visibility. The monitor's base is designed to take up minimal space on the desk. However, the screen's position adjustments are limited — only tilt angles in a small forward-backward range.

For the undemanding, it'll do. For graphic work and fast games, unlikely.
7 June
On the second day of use, I began to notice that in everyday tasks and gaming, things weren't as good as they seemed at first. I conducted more detailed testing and identified several issues that many users might eventually notice.

Adaptive Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible on NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards (tested on two PCs) work inconsistently: after minimizing a game, part of the screen may display artifacts.

Vertical lines also appear periodically. In videos (YouTube or local player), they reappear in the same spots when replaying the same fragment. This is most noticeable on blue and gray shades. In games, there is no pattern, but lines are sometimes present as well.

The Pixel Inversion test (#9F9F9F and #000000) was not passed by the monitor. Besides flickering, noticeable color distortions occur: blue and purple shades appear instead of gray.

According to reviews on Reddit, such a problem is found in many monitors from recent batches and is not considered a defect by the manufacturer but a feature of the firmware operation and matrix calibration.

Conclusion: At 60 Hz, the monitor works almost flawlessly, thus it may be suitable for videos, internet, and office work. However, for gamers, I recommend considering alternatives, as this monitor is difficult to truly classify as a gaming monitor.
* honest 8-bit matrix;
* bright and rich colors;
* capability to operate at 180 Hz;
* excellent contrast;
* high response speed;
* all stated specifications are accurate;
* comes with two cables: HDMI and DisplayPort;
* genuinely working LFC, although not officially declared;
* all image enhancement features work flawlessly;
* monitor assembles quickly and easily;
* despite budget plastic, it looks nice;
* stand is not perfect but sufficiently stable.
Adaptive Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible raise more questions than positive impressions. All the defects of a fast matrix and synchronization issues that I know of are present.
* pixel inversion
* scanlines
* vertical lines
* VRR flicker
* FreeSync issues
I bought it with a discount for €333, and I believe the price is too high for such "impressions."
