A watch from the Amazfit series with a design close to the Apple Watch. The classic silicone strap gives it a sporty feel, while a host of sensors such as NFC, GPS/GLONASS, barometer, optical heart rate sensor, 6-axis accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor, and more... make the watch quite functional compared to the competition. It is worth noting the AMOLED display, with proprietary rich colours and excellent viewing angles.
There is also IP67 waterproofing and a fairly capacious 220 mAh battery. Insignificant dimensions and weight, coupled with the already listed characteristics, allow us to say that the watch is perfect for both sports and simple morning runs or everyday wear as a functional accessory. The novelty came out together with the Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 3 model, where, unlike these watches: a steel round basel, there is an oxygen consumption count, Wi-Fi, a gyroscope, a compass, and in the elite version, a sapphire display. But, the Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 3 is heavier and has a smaller display, making it more sporty than everyday smartwatches.

Smartwatch for every day
If you google “iWatch alternative”, then one of the first answers will be a link to Xiaomi Amazfit GTS. And this, in general, is not surprising, given the quality of Xiaomi products and their love for copying "apple" gadgets. In the case of the Amazfit GTS, borrowing primarily concerns the design, but if we discard the issue of secondary, the watch looks great: stylish, versatile, but not too catchy. They also weigh only 25 grams with the strap (by the way, the strap is excellent), so they do not hang out while running or playing sports, and do not put pressure on the wrist during sleep. The watch case is protected from moisture ingress according to the IP67 standard, that is, they are not afraid of splashes and short-term immersion under water, but swimming in the pool is still not recommended.
High-quality 1.65-inch AMOLED screen
The watch is equipped with a high-quality AMOLED-matrix with a diagonal of 1.65", high pixel density and automatic brightness control. The picture on them looks very juicy, with deep blacks and an abundance of shades. You can find fault with the screen only in terms of brightness; on a sunny day at maximum brightness, you have to peer into the dial. With customization, everything is fine, in the menu you can find a bunch of different decorative, universal and sports displays. The display sensor clearly responds to touch, and the finger easily glides over the display. But the interface is not the fastest, sometimes the animation freezes for a split second or the swipe works late.
Your fitness trainer
In terms of tracking, Amazfit GTS has everything standard: round-the-clock heart rate measurement, a pedometer, a sleep tracker, the ability to control music on a smartphone (but there is no built-in player), notifications and tracking of sports activity (running, swimming, cycling, skiing, mountain climbing). There are few functions, to put it mildly, you can’t add third-party epps, but what is there works flawlessly. Probably better than filing a bunch of features that will fail.
Up to 3 weeks on a single charge
The watch is in order and with battery life, without GPS turned on, you can count on 2-3 weeks of work from a single charge. Of the additional features, we highlight NFC and GLONASS. All things considered, Amazfit GTS looks like a great intermediate option for those who have outgrown the conventional Xiaomi MiBand, but do not yet need a personal trainer on their arm and do not plan to use a watch as a replacement for a smartphone.
