U-ART's signature ribbon tweeter

German manufacturer Adam has long been known for its line of studio acoustics AX series, which is distinguished by high quality, but also considerable cost. In response to demand for more affordable models in 2018, the company released the Adam T line. One of the main features of the series was the proprietary U-ART ribbon tweeter with HPS Waveguide waveguide, which is responsible for crystal clear reproduction of high frequencies and expands the listening area, allowing you to enjoy high-quality sound, even if you do not sit directly opposite the speakers.

Compact model with 5-inch diffuser

The Adam T5V is the most compact and affordable model in the line. It features a 5-inch cone and a 70-watt Class D amplifier. The model provides a precise balance of sound and impressive detail in the upper range. Bass frequencies sound expressive, although sometimes it seems that they suppress the mids a little. However, this is easily adjusted with the built-in HF and LF controls on the rear panel, allowing you to customize the sound to your personal preferences: reducing the bass by 2 dB makes the sound more balanced, and the detail in the mids increases.

A more affordable analogue of Adam A5X

Compared to the more expensive AX models, the T5V is more subdued in sound, but remains true to the Adam's bright and detailed sound, especially in the upper range. However, due to its emphasis on silky high frequencies, the T5V may not be suitable for critical mixing. However, for home studio, music, gaming and film listening, the U-ART ribbon tweeter shines, offering excellent value for money for enthusiasts and professionals.
