SteelSeries Apex 9 Mini (64838)

A compact version of the Apex 9 eSports keyboard, presented on the market by the popular SteelSeries brand and positioned by the manufacturer in the upper price segment. The Mini modification uses a 60% layout. Instead of traditional push-button mechanics, innovative OptiPoint switches are used - these are optical-mechanical switches with the ability to adjust the actuation point.

There are two options for stroke height before switching on: 1 and 1.5 mm. The actuation height can be adjusted both for each button separately and for the entire layout at once. The SteelSeries Apex 9 Mini mechanical gaming keyboard provides the highest typing speed of 0.2 ms. According to the manufacturer, such buttons work 33% faster than most mechanical analogues. Switches remain operational for 100 million clicks.

Double Shot PBT was used for keycaps. The keyboard's construction uses aircraft-grade aluminium, which makes the keyboard incredibly rigid and durable. Pairing with the computer is carried out using a current-carrying cord via the USB Type C port. Single-row folding legs have three working positions: folded, 50% open and 100% open. Enhanced RGB lighting is available with multiple lighting effects. The keyboard makes it possible to replace optical-mechanical switches.
