A keyboard with optical buttons that fully meets the requirements of professional e-sports and dynamic gaming. The keys are based on OptiPoint SteelSeries switches. These are unique switches based on an optical design. These switches allow you to manually adjust the travel height of the buttons - you can choose between 1 and 1.5 mm travel. A Hot Swap option is provided. The buttons are guaranteed to receive 100 million clicks.
The SteelSeries Apex 9 TKL mechanical gaming keyboard has a TKL format layout. The number of keys is 84. There are two auxiliary switches: a clickable rotary wheel and a separate button. The volume can be easily adjusted with a wheel, and an additional button allows you to scroll through tracks. But if desired, the buttons can be reassigned; a proprietary application is provided for this.
The front surface is equipped with an insert made of high-strength aluminium alloy. The bottom cover has a secret compartment where the keycap remover is located. The connection is made with a detachable USB Type C and USB Type A cable. The keyboard is well suited for simple and quick recording of macros. There are four profiles available for saving settings. The design of the device is improved due to RGB lighting, which can synchronize with the illumination of other elements of the computer system.

Apex Predator
The SteelSeries Apex 9 TKL is a compact gaming keyboard that combines cutting-edge technology, high-quality build, and thoughtful design. The focus is on performance, durability, and customization options, offering gamers a powerful solution with lightning-fast switches. Unlike other models in the Apex series, the "nine" received a number of unique features that may interest advanced users.
Dual-point pushbutton switches with 100 million click lifespan
The keyboard is equipped with OptiPoint optical-mechanical switches with an ultra-fast response of only 0.2 ms. The user can choose one of two preset actuation points: 1.0 mm for dynamic games and 1.5 mm for work, which allows you to adapt the keys to different usage scenarios. According to the manufacturer, the switches are designed for 100 million clicks - this is 1.5-2 times more than most popular mechanical switches. Unlike other models in the Apex line, this version supports hot swapping of switches.
High quality of assembly and materials
In addition to the high response rate, the keyboard stands out for its build quality and thoughtful design elements. The top panel is made of 5000 series aircraft aluminum, the PBT keycaps are double-molded, and the braided cable can be detached if necessary. There is a hidden compartment for the keycap remover at the bottom of the case. The device also has a multimedia button with a volume wheel and individual RGB backlighting for each key, which is configurable via the SteelSeries Engine software. Among the disadvantages, we can note the limited selection of compatible switches (only single-contact ones are supported) and the traditionally high price for SteelSeries devices.
