The sound is clear and juicy! Compared to the old speakers for 300 rubles, these are simply a masterpiece. The volume is excessive like PC speakers. Overall, an excellent model! The Chinese company Edifier has relatively recently appeared on the world market of audio products, but has already managed to win the recognition of users with good quality and reasonable cost. The R1700BT stereo system sounds loud, bright, expressive, more attractive in appearance, and all this for some $120.
Stylish and confident
The speakers feature a 10-degree angle of inclination, so that the sound is directed more accentuated. Vinyl MDF walnut finish in two colours — red and brown — allows you to most accurately fit the acoustics into the interior. The speakers are protected by neat black fabric grilles, but to be fair, the system looks much better without them.
Everything is within reach
Operates R1700BT in the frequency range of 60 – 20,000 Hz, which is provided by the dome 0.75-inch "Eagle Eye" tweeters and inch woofers. The tweeters delight with accurate transmission of the quietest and shortest sounds, and the phase inverter port helps to amplify the low component. Maximum purity and realism of sound is achieved thanks to the DSP-processor and dynamic range control (DRC).
If desired, you can adjust the bass and treble from the remote control or manually — the controls are located on the side panel of the active speaker. The system supports connection to two devices at the same time, thanks to two pairs of RCA, and if you like to listen to music from your smartphone — Bluetooth is at your service. There are no problems with power reserve. 66 W RMS is enough to sound the party in a small private house.
Edifier R1700BT leaves a good impression in everything: sound, appearance, control and cost. It is worth buying for those for whom listening to music from a PC or smartphone is a daily ritual.
