High-class 2.0 bookshelf speakers with combined connectivity, stylish design, and unique planar/ribbon tweeters. This set belongs to the premium price range and is a representative of the elite series by Edifier, released in 2021. Targeted at individuals seeking a convenient alternative to active and passive Hi-Fi acoustics with a modern set of connections.
Specifically, the Edifier S2000MKIII can be connected to a PC using an 'RCA-RCA-mini-jack' cable, utilize digital inputs for a television, or use Bluetooth connectivity for a smartphone or tablet. Each speaker is equipped with its own digital Class D amplifier based on TAS5754 chips with built-in DSP processing. The overall system power reaches 130 W (65 W per channel), so the speakers can power a small dance floor if desired.
Each speaker features an aluminum woofer with an expanded surround and a ribbon tweeter from the French company Fostex. This is the company's first audio system with such a solution, usually ribbon tweeters are installed either in home hi-fi acoustics or in professional monitoring systems. The speakers are enclosed in a premium MDF cabinet with a thickness of 18mm, which minimizes parasitic sounds and resonances.
The high sound quality of the Edifier S2000MKIII is confirmed by a KLIPPEL analytical center certificate. Volume, equalizer, and connectivity controls are located on the back panel of the active speaker. Alternatively, a stylish remote control designed as a dial is available. For audio source connection, there are 4 analog RCA — RCA connectors, as well as optical and coaxial inputs with high-quality Burr-Brown converters. For wireless connectivity, a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with aptX HD codec support is installed.

A very good model of active speakers. Noticeable sound jump after the acoustics SVEN IHOO-MT5.1R. There is a noticeable difference in sound between a regular RCA jack and optical. It's unclear why, but the speakers sound cleaner through the optical. The sound is assertive in nature; I listen to different genres, and it feels like the speakers need 5-10 minutes to warm up for the music to start sounding better. Rock, rap, electronic - superb. On metal, everything noticeably sounds worse, mush can be heard, especially at high volume. Only listen in "MONITOR" mode. Overall, there are more interesting options for this genre. Otherwise, definitely worth the money. I bought it in Citilink for 32K, after a month the price increased to 36K. If you want hassle-free monitors, this model will definitely not disappoint! Design, beautiful speakers for any interior. Sound, loud, sharp. No sound cards required, etc. Just turn it on and enjoy. Bluetooth is available, and it doesn’t disconnect. Remote control. Sometimes you can hear the treble hiss. When using Bluetooth from an old Samsung, there is a very noticeable noise during silence. Most likely a better source is needed. The remote is not very convenient. This is the final version of the sound, upgrades with sound cards, etc., are not possible, limiting some capabilities.
