Edifier R1280DBs

The R1280DBs are neat class 2.0 bookshelf speakers with a neat design, quality sound and combo connectivity. The speakers belong to the middle price segment and do not differ in high power, so they will most appropriately look like ordinary computer speakers for listening to music, playing games and watching TV shows. With a wood-look finish and a neat front panel, they will brighten up any interior.

To connect signal sources, the active speaker has 4 analog RCA connectors, optical and coaxial inputs, a separate subwoofer output and a wireless Bluetooth 5.0 receiver. Thus, you can simultaneously connect a computer, smartphone and TV to the speakers, without having to touch the wires. The complete remote control allows you to fully control the system without getting up from the sofa - change active inputs, adjust the tone and volume, activate the wireless connection and switch tracks.

A tandem of a 4-inch bass driver and a 0.5-inch high-frequency tweeter is responsible for the sound of the speakers. The manufacturer claims a private range from 52 to 20,000 Hz and a signal-to-noise ratio of around 85 dB. The built-in amplifier allows you to "squeeze out" up to 42 watts of sound power (21 watts per channel). Thanks to the bass reflex front port, the speakers can be installed close to the wall without worrying about distortion in the lower part of the spectrum. If necessary, the user can manually twist the upper and lower frequencies - the controls are located on the side of the active speaker, and are also duplicated on the remote control.
