It is a replacement for the Edifier R1280T model, which differs from it in its external design and extended frequency range (55-20000 Hz instead of 75-18000 Hz for its predecessor). The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the middle price category, which allows you to output high-quality sound from the vast majority of sources equipped with an analog stereo output, including PCs, game consoles, mobile gadgets, CD / DVD players and TVs.

The loudspeakers are made in cases of their dense durable MDF, which gives the sound the necessary depth and eliminates the undesirable phenomenon of acoustic resonance. The Edifier R1380T two-way speaker system is aimed at sophisticated users who need high-quality desktop acoustics with accurate, detailed and balanced sound. The set consists of an active speaker with a high-quality class D digital amplifier and a passive speaker that is connected with a complete cable. A pair of 116 mm woofers and a pair of tweeters (25.4 mm) with Golden Eye silk dome are responsible for sound output. The tone control on the side of the active speaker allows you to adjust the high and low frequencies from -6 to +6 dB.
