One of the flagships in the ROG Swift 2024 line is a gamer-centric 27-inch monitor from Asus, featuring an OLED panel (with white organic diodes, without the use of quantum-dot filters). The model incorporates proprietary technologies to extend the panel's lifespan — OLED Care+, which includes a dedicated heat sink and improved ventilation to dissipate excess heat, additional calibration features, pixel shift, and static object brightness reduction, among others.
The Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDP monitor has a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, known for having one of the best refresh rates on the market — up to 480 Hz, and is notable for a response time of 0.03 ms from gray to gray. Demanding gamers can expect essential adaptive sync technologies, including AMD FreeSync Premium and compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync. Additionally, it offers an AI assistant implementing various gaming options, including AI Sniper, MOBA Map Helper, AI Shadow Boost, and others.
Advantages of the display include excellent contrast, uniform brightness up to 450 nits (confirmed by DisplayHDR True Black 400) with maximum values at 1300 nits, as well as 10-bit color. It is reported to cover 135% of the sRGB color space and 99% of DCI P3. Also noteworthy is the proprietary Aura Sync RGB lighting synchronization, modern video transmission interfaces and a USB hub, as well as an ergonomic stand with adjustments for tilt, swivel, height, and the ability to switch to portrait mode.
