— city and touring bikes are designed for those who plan to ride mainly on flat roads without much "extreme" — for example, to go to the country house in the suburbs or from home to work and back. Tyres for such bicycles also have corresponding characteristics. These are mostly rather large products with a pronounced, but relatively shallow tread, which allows you to drive both on asphalt and on dirt roads. A large diameter (most often 28 ") somewhat reduces acceleration characteristics compared to the same MTB, but it allows you to keep speed longer, besides, such a wheel better works out small bumps in the road. However, the maximum "off-road" for tyres of this type is a rolled dirt road.
