Like many standard belay devices, the DMM Pivot is made from tough and lightweight aluminum, with two friction options to help us fine-tune our rappel speed. Unlike other devices, the Pivot sports a hinged guide-mode loop that provides some extra leverage and smooth action when we need to lower our second off the belay ledge.

When jamming up alpine cracks, we build our 'draws with the DMM Dynatec Open Sling. The smooth, lightweight material resists abrasions, UV damage, and moisture, giving us hardwearing performance that can hold strong in harsh conditions.

DMM's Dragon Cam is fiercer, stronger, and grippier than ever before. The biggest update for the new model is without a doubt the teeth, which are redesigned to net more friction on any rock. DMM studied the slipperiest rocks in order to determine the best grip, and the results are sharper teeth, increased surface area, and a raw Alu finish. The teeth's surface area tapers off right at the sweet spot to help us easily find the best placement in any given crack.
