When spinning, the drum rotates at high speed, and significant unevenness is fraught with various troubles — from an increased noise level to the failure of the washing machine. This function is used to protect against such phenomena. If an unbalance is detected, the system tries to eliminate it by rotating the drum in the opposite direction. But if this fails, the spin speed is reduced, or it is turned off altogether. The user receives a failure message and can redistribute the contents of the drum manually.
