Touch controls

— control, carried out only through the touch panel, is typical for fairly advanced machines. It is similar to the “rotary knob + touch controls” option (see related paragraph). But the control panel has virtually no protruding parts, which gives it a neat appearance and makes it easier to clean. On the other hand, for many users, the easiest way to select a programme is with the rotary knob; pure touch controls are not as intuitive and can be difficult for an inexperienced user. Therefore, this option is relatively rare.
