Water tank

— the presence in the machine of a tank to store a supply of water. This function is relevant only for automatic machines. The working capacity of a semi-automatic machine (see "Product type") in this case is not considered as a tank.

Models with a tank are used without a direct connection to the water supply: washing water is taken from the tank, which can be filled with improvised means, for example, from a hose or even buckets. Such units are indispensable for situations where a semi-automatic machine is not enough, but there is nowhere to connect the usual “automatic machine”.
