Round braided strings
— the traditional, oldest and most common version of the braid. Other things being equal, it provides the brightest, sonorous sound. However sliding a finger along such strings is accompanied by a characteristic buzz, but for some guitarists this moment is an advantage, not a disadvantage. Of the unequivocal disadvantages of this option, one can name a less “careful” attitude towards the frets than with other types of braid; however, this point in most cases is not critical.
