Torches with remote button
Remote button
— an on/off button, made separately from the torch body and connected to it using a wire. Found exclusively in under-barrel models (see “Type”). The point of such a button is that it can be attached to the weapon directly under the shooter’s hand – so that he can turn the torch on and off without changing his grip.Note that models with this function may have different designs: some are controlled only by an external button, others in addition to it have a switch on the body, and some others can change one type of switch to another by replacing the cap covering the rear end.
