To prevent a yard sale at the crag, we load up with the Mammut Neon 55L Pack. On the approach, the padded back panel prevents our gear from digging into our spine, while the load lifters, sternum stra more→p, and waist belt help stabilize our load. The internal pocketing, gear loop, and removable tarp bag keep all our gear organized, accessible, and tangle free, so when we reach the wall, we're racked and ready to climb in record time.

Mountain guide Patrick Gabarrou is sick of wearing a backpack anytime he climbs up chimneys and offwidths, and you would be as well if you ever experience a similar misfortune.
