TSA lock
— the presence in the backpack of a lock that is compatible with the TSA standard. The peculiarity of this lock is that it has two ways of opening and closing — normal and "service". The usual method is used by the user himself, most often it involves locking with a digital code; and for the "service" opening, a special universal key is used, compatible with all TSA locks. Only customs officers, security services and other personnel authorized to inspect luggage have such keys. The purpose of this function is to allow authorized employees to inspect luggage without disturbing the owner once again and without breaking the lock (which is fraught with damage to it). Currently, TSA keys are used at airports in the US, Canada, UK and Israel, so this feature may come in handy when traveling to these countries with a checked-in backpack.
