Sports backpacks

 

— backpacks designed mainly for sports activities, in particular running and cycling at high speed. This category is similar to models for outdoor activities (see the relevant paragraph), however, sports backpacks have a narrower specialization — they were originally designed specifically for constant movement. The volume of such products is small — up to 20 liters, and more often up to 15 liters: it is assumed that the athlete will keep only the most necessary items with him. Such items include a supply of water, so many sports backpacks are equipped with a drinking system outlet (see "Design"). Also note that models of this type are usually made elongated in height with a small thickness and width. This provides a streamlined shape and reduces drag during certain types of movement — for example, when riding a road bike.
