Semi-synthetics

— oils consisting of both mineral and synthetic components. In general, they have more advanced characteristics than mineral ones, although, usually, they fall short of pure “synthetics”. At the same time, such brands are noticeably cheaper, and during normal driving in simple conditions, the difference with synthetics is often imperceptible.
