On the one hand, they usually have compact dimensions, they can be mounted on almost any suitable item of equipment (backpack strap, unloading belt, belt, etc.). On the other hand, they are poorly suited for extreme use, they rarely have significant protection against shocks or splashes, and therefore they have not received widespread.
