Such devices are familiar to many from stationery markers, but markers are just one of the varieties of felt-tip pens. In this case, artistic felt-tip pens are most often meant — devices with tips of relatively small thickness. Such tools are suitable for coloring and simple drawing, but felt-tip pens are usually unsuitable for any serious task: they cannot work with high accuracy (the paint spreads on paper), and the set of shades is very limited.
