Chalk

— various types of chalk may be included in this category. So, often these are classic coloured crayons based on a natural mineral; they are designed for drawing on a blackboard or rough surfaces like asphalt or concrete. In addition, there are also polymer crayons — they are similar to wax pencils (see the relevant paragraph), however, they are made on the basis of more resistant polymeric materials, due to which they crumble and flatten less, and the drawings are more durable.
