Our engineers recently spent some time working on one of the age-old questions with the Tricam … how to stiffen the sling without impeding its ability to engage the camming action. After much experimenting, we rested on the simple solution of carrying the inner band of webbing further towards the head and using a stitch pattern. The tried-and-tested RX-1 ALLROUND rubber with a thickness of 2 mm offers additional grip without being bulky and annoying. To optimize the connection between the KNEEROCK and the leg, the inside is made from non-slip neoprene. The technical, anatomically adapted shape preserves the freedom of movement while climbing.
