Lacing

— the fastening is in the form of classic laces — the same as in ordinary shoes. Most often it is used only to fix the instep of the foot and is combined with other types of fasteners. However, in some models (usually with paired wheels, see the relevant paragraph), the lacing is carried out along the entire height of the boot, up to the top edge, thus ensuring the retention of both the heel and the shin. Anyway, this type of fastener is reliable and effective, but it can be difficult for young children who do not have the skills to tie shoelaces.
