On the surface of such a product, a characteristic set of round recesses with rigid cylindrical inserts - "glasses" (hence the name) is provided. Such recesses, in fact, form a set of both longitudinal and transverse stiffeners, allowing the mattress to withstand deformations both in length and in width.

The disadvantages of "glasses" include the fact that they are not very comfortable when they are on the mattress for a long time; that is why this option is not found among models for recreation.
