Bubble frame levels are considered universal metres, because the frame structure has 4 edges. That is, this level can be entrusted with the control of both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Additionally, one or more faces can have a prismatic shape, which makes it possible to put the level on a cylindrical surface, that is, on a shaft.
