Case (bag)

— the case is a rigid container for storage and transportation, complemented by a handle, straps and/or other devices that provide convenience when carried in hands or “on oneself”. The bag, in turn, is made of soft materials; it does not protect the contents so reliably from bumps and shocks, but it has less weight and can be folded compactly. Anyway, a complete case or bag is much more convenient than impromptu packaging — they are optimally suited for a specific device and, most often, close quite tightly and protect the unit well from dust and moisture (the mechanisms of hoists and winches are most sensitive to these factors).
