— vocal microphones are designed for situations where the human voice needs to be transmitted to amplifying equipment for direct reproduction — as happens during concerts, public events, the karaoke mentioned in the name, etc. Also, such models are often used for sounding instruments (for example, acoustic guitars), but this is not recommended for professional work with sound — specialized instrumental models cope with such tasks still much better.
