Red wine cabinets
For red wine
— coolers suitable for serving red wines.Unlike other types of wines, red varieties should not be cooled before serving, but slightly heated relative to the storage temperature (10..12 °C). The specific serving temperature may be different, depending on the characteristics of a particular variety, but most often it ranges from 13 to 15 °C, in some varieties up to 18 °C. Thus, this category includes wine coolers with a maximum operating temperature of at least 15°C; often it is even higher. But even if the maximum temperature of the unit is only 15 °C, this is not a problem when serving wines that require a higher temperature — after all, the bottle can be held outside the working chamber for some time before serving.
