Temperature units are all units that provide several temperature zones, in each of which you can set your own temperature. The meaning of this arrangement lies in the fact that the optimal serving temperature of wine usually differs from the storage temperature (moreover, different types of wine also have different serving temperatures, see "Suitable for"). Therefore, one of the zones in such coolers is usually used for long-term storage, the rest is for cooling or heating wine immediately before serving. So, if the total number of zones is three or more, this means that there are more than one “serving” zones in the cooler, and several types of wines can be prepared for serving at the same time in it. On the other hand, such a design requires a large size and significantly affects the price of the unit.
