Most of these models are reflectors (see "Design") of the middle class, with a lens size in the range of 100 – 200 mm and a maximum useful magnification (see the relevant paragraph) up to 300 – 310x. They can use any type of mount, but a very popular option is the equatorial mount, which is the most convenient for astrophotography.
