— devices designed to be used exclusively as USB hubs and do not have the ability to work with memory cards. The principle of operation of the hub is similar to the operation of an electric extension cord with several plugs: occupying one USB port on a computer, it has several own USB inputs, to which several devices can be connected simultaneously. This can come in handy if there are a lot of peripherals and few available ports (for example, when working with a laptop), or if they are located inconveniently (for example, on the back of a desktop PC).
