USB card readers
USB 2.0
— the oldest commonly used version of USB today. Uses a traditional full-size connector, provides a maximum data transfer rate of about 480 Mbps (actually, usually, less). USB 2.0 is gradually being replaced by more modern and advanced standards, but still does not lose popularity. At the same time, card readers and USB hubs with such a plug are quite compatible with ports of newer versions (except for USB Type C, which uses a different type of socket) — except that the connection characteristics will be limited by the capabilities of the 2.0 standard.Show
