Water heaters with dry heating protection
Dry heating protection
— a protection system that does not allow the water heater to start working if there is no water in it.Dry operation is an abnormal situation for almost any water heater; in this mode, the device quickly overheats and may fail or even catch fire. To avoid this, this function can be provided in the design. It will be especially useful where long interruptions in water supply and “drying out” of the water supply are possible — for example, in a private house supplied with water using a pump from a well.
