Indirect water heaters

Indirect heating water heaters

— water heaters using indirect heating. With such heating, the heat source is a heat exchanger through which water or another heat medium passes, heated by an external device — for example, a boiler. Thus, the water heater does not have its own sources of energy — it uses "external heat".

All models with indirect heating are storage heaters. For more information about the features of storage units, see "Electric storage heaters". Specifically, indirect heaters are noticeably more difficult to connect than electric ones — after all, the device actually needs to be built into the heating system. On the other hand, such a boiler can be an excellent addition to a heating boiler: in fact, it uses the "surplus" heat that is often formed in autonomous heating systems, which saves energy and reduces the overall cost of operating the system.
